About me
I am an alcoholic. I am a woman. I am spiritually interested, and do believe in a power greater than myself. I want to live, and live well, and the only way I have ever had a fighting chance at achieving anything of the like has been during sobriety, when I am myself. I have not had an uninteresting life as the result of my obsession with alcohol and years of its abuse, but I most certainly have suffered its distorted effects on my self worth, self importance, compassion, ambitions and every other aspect of my being that has genuine value. I have made a choice, and continue to make that choice each day to cofront who I am, now, without the aid of alcohol.
